A cosmetics shop in the Bhandarichak area of Golbazar, Kharagpur, Paschim Medinipur district, caught fire early Sunday morning, resulting in the complete destruction of the shop. The fire caused significant alarm among local residents in the vicinity.
Three fire engines were dispatched to the scene promptly after the incident was reported. Firefighters arrived quickly and brought the fire under control, preventing it from spreading to nearby shops. No casualties or injuries have been reported so far.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the authorities. As of now, the damage is limited to the single cosmetics shop, and efforts to assess the full extent of the loss are ongoing.
